Sunday Post 16th December 2012

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ to recap the past week on the blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

These are all the books I got this week-

From the library:

  • Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. Yes! It FINALLY came in! This is the sequel to Daughter of Smoke and Bone my favourite book of last year. I cannot wait to get stuck into this one.

Audiobook:

  • Lullaby by Amanda Hocking. This is the sequel to Wake which I loved (but still haven't written up my review for), about nasty murderous mermaids. After the cliff-hanger ending of Wake this one should be good.

For review:

  • Sister Assassin by Kiersten White. This is the start of a new series by this author. It is due to be published in February 2013. (It is also being published under the title Mind Games in the US and some other parts of the world).
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the review copy.

  • Geek Girl by Holly Smale. This looks like a fun and quirky read from a UK based debut author. It is due to be published in February 2013.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my review copy

  • Pieces by Michelle Davidson Argyle. This is the sequel to The Breakaway about a girl who is kidnapped and develops Stockholm Syndrome. It sounds very emotional, and I'm looking forward to starting it.
Thanks to the author and Xpresso Book Tours for my review copy. (I will be taking part in a blog tour for this book in the New Year).

I love the look of all these books- what an amazing book haul this week!

My Bloggy news:
I am currently hosting two book giveaways this week (I know last week I promised three, and I did have a post scheduled for Wednesday, but the publication of the book has been delayed so I had to cancel it- so sorry about that)

Click to be taken straight to the posts to enter the giveaway for-

Entangled by Nikki Jefford (INT) ends 26th Dec
An Apocalypse book of your choice (INT) ends 21st Dec

both of these giveaways have a free entry so you don't need to jump through any hoops to enter.

Thankyou so much for stopping by today! What new books did you get? Link me up!

  1. I still need to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Someone recently commented on my not-review on Goodreads and was outraged that I hadn't yet. LOL Hope you enjoy the sequel! <3
