The Time Will Come #61

The Time Will Come is a weekly meme hosted by Jodie at Books For Company, where we can spotlight those books that we've had sitting on our shelves for too long. Books that we really want to read but never seem to get around to.

This is one of those, that despite being self-published has done very well, and developed a massive online reputation. I haven't read a single bad review of this book. It sounds very good (despite the fact that I usually avoid horror stories 'cause I'm a wuss), I've seen so much praise of this book as to make me want to read it. I've had it on my kindle for about a year now, and still haven't gotten around to it.

Jenny Pox by J.L Bryan
Goodreads

Eighteen-year-old Jenny Morton has a horrific secret: her touch spreads a deadly supernatural plague, the "Jenny pox." She lives by a single rule: Never touch anyone. A lifetime of avoiding any physical contact with others has made her isolated and painfully lonely in her small rural town.

Then she meets the one boy she can touch. Jenny feels herself falling for Seth...but if she's going to be with him, Jenny must learn to use the deadly pox inside her to confront his ruthless and manipulative girlfriend Ashleigh, who secretly wields the most dangerous power of all.

  3. This is an awesome series! You definitely don't want to miss it. I don't like horror either, but I never considered it horror while I was reading it. Just some crazy supernatural powers! You really need to read this series they are so different from everything I've read.
